The Directors of Regatta Point Freehold Limited met for a regular meeting in order to discuss various matters arising in the running of the building. The following are highlights of the discussions.
- Eastern Wall repair work was cancelled following updated advice from surveyor.
- Autobar House development – many issues have arisen (noise, damage, working hours) and are being actively challenged with Bugler by directors.
- Request for new shares to be issued will be progressed if interested parties are willing to pay the administration costs.
- New gardening contract now in place and directors will discuss with gardener performance to date.
- Fire Plan – signage will be implemented during the decorations. The additional works required by the Fire Brigade are being progressed by Shaw’s surveyor. Costs are as yet unknown but will incur an exceptional bill to residents.
- Fire repairs – still outstanding from HML Shaws.
- Internal decorations – extensive delays caused by contract negotiations are complete. Work has re-started. Guest rooms and gym will be improved in addition to the new sauna.
