We are advised by Hounslow Highways that the car park entrance will be completely closed from 8am on Monday 19th June until 4pm on Wednesday 21st June whilst they construct that section of the cycle lane. There will be no vehicle access in or out during that period. Residents will all receive a letter about this from Hounslow in the next few days. Alternative parking will be provided in residents permit bays in Green Dragon Lane.

Now that the summer weather is finally here, a reminder regarding barbecues

Regatta Point has two portable barbecues available for residents to borrow. If you would like to make use of them please contact the caretaker for more information.

The barbecues are to be used only on the eastern lawn, and must be returned CLEANED. We also have some tables that you can borrow if you wish to entertain. Plastic glasses must be used as no glass is permitted in the gardens.

Please remember to tidy up afterwards, removing any food waste to the main bin rooms so as not to attract foxes. Please also keep noise to a minimum.

Please note that as a condition of our Building Insurance Policy, and as London Fire Brigade advice, barbecues of any sort are strictly forbidden on the wooden balconies of the building due to the fire hazard they present. They are also unpleasant for your neighbours.

Cycle Lane Works & Car Park Access – Update

Update – HH have said that the gas main repairs outside are going to continue for another two weeks or so. Consequently the works to our car park access are delayed until mid June.

Advanced warning – we have been informed by the Hounslow Highways team building the cycle lane outside that the access to our car park will be closed between 9:00am – 4:00pm for four days at the end of this month – exact days to be advised. They appear to be providing alternative parking in Green Dragon Lane, but again, details to follow.

Reminder – External Decorations Start

A reminder that the repairs and redecorations to the river side elevation are scheduled to start on Tuesday 11th April, and take 8 weeks to complete. The works will comprise the replacement of any rotten decking, joists and trellis/fencing, re-sealing of the decking and decoration of flaky or rusting paintwork where accessible. It will be carried out by DMC & Son of Greenford.

The building will not be scaffolded as we have tried to limit the amount of work to what is essential, and so access will be needed through your flat to carry out the works. Mark will arrange this.
