With regret

It is with great regret that the Directors have to announce the resignation of Michael O’Neil as our Caretaker at Regatta Point.

Everyone who has had the  pleasure of meeting Michael will know how much enthusiasm and professionalism he has bought to the role, let alone improvements to the levels of service offered to owners and residents alike.  However, Michael has decided to move on to pastures new and his last day will be Friday the 24th of August.

In the meantime, the Directors have been interviewing and have selected Michael Mitsinga to join us as our new Caretaker – to start on Monday the 20th of August, which will allow a one week handover.

Please join us in wishing Michael O’Neil all the best for the future and in welcoming Michael Mitsinga into his new role.

8th of January Xmas tree disposal

We are please to be able to announce that we have managed to arrange for the disposal of your used Christmas Trees by combination of contracts and the kindness of car park owners.

The contract that covers our gardening contains a clause for the disposal of Christmas Trees as long as they are place in CAR PARK SPACE NUMBER 1 FROM THE 8TH OF JANUARY (not before please).  We hope that this will be more convenient for you instead of arranging you own disposals.

Please remember to clean up the communal corridors if your tree sheds needles on its way to the car park – for the consideration of fellow residents.

Residents cannot leave trees in the communal bin areas for collection as the council will not take them without prior arrangement.

On a less happy note – we also have to say that over the Christmas period some residents dumped unwanted furniture and other items in the communal bin rooms which is not permitted.  This incurs significant costs to Regatta Point and we will be using the cctv to identify culprits.

Caretaker Christmas

Please be aware that Michael, our caretaker, is on holiday over the Christmas period and that no cover is being provided.

His last day in the office will be Friday the 22nd of December and his first day back at work will be Tuesday the 2nd of January 2018.
