New Caretaker

We welcome our new Caretaker today – Paul Lewis – and look forward to working with him in the care of our community and building.

He will be taking over full duties once he has found his feet.

New Caretaker – PAUL LEWIS

We are pleased to announce that our new permanent caretaker, Paul Lewis, will be joining us next week, on Monday 24th February.

Paul is very experienced having worked in a range of similar posts including residential buildings, health facilities and Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club. In the course of that he has received training in Health & Safety, Customer Services and Manual Handling to name but a few.

Please join us in making him welcome, and remember that he is new to the building and will take a little while to get to know it.

Paul Secker will also be here on Monday 24th to assist in handing over, and we would like to thank him for his sterling work for us over the past couple of months.

Mark Cooper

We are sad to report that today will be Marks final day as our Caretaker here at Regatta Point. Due to his health issues he is no longer able to continue with his role and will now retire to focus fully on his own well being.

Prior to his illness Mark served us amazingly well in his role and we are very sorry to see him leave. As we are sure you are aware the past year has been very difficult for him, and we wish him well and sincerely hope that he has better health as he retires.

Whilst today is Marks last working day, he will be around on Monday 23rd to finish putting things in order.

As is customary, there will not be a caretaker on duty over the Christmas period. In the new year we will start the recruitment process for our next full-time caretaker, and in the meantime we will use temporaries to fill the gap. Further details to follow.
