Entryphone Replacement

Change of date – now Tuesday 4th instead of Monday 3rd

On Tuesday 4th March our entryphone is being replaced by a more modern system.  The current one is 26 years old and will shortly become obsolete as it relies on copper phone lines to work, which are being phased out.  The new system will offer new features not available on the old one, particularly if you use it with a smart phone.

– No works will be required in your flat.- Your key fob will continue to work as before.
– You can register up to three telephone numbers per flat to operate the system. These can be landlines or mobiles.
– On mobiles you can optionally install the IPGuard App, available on the Google Play and Apple App Stores. This will give you a video connection to the front door so that you can see and speak to whoever is calling and let them in.  It will also enable you to use your mobile to let yourself in through the front door if you don’t have your key fob with you.

Please complete the form that has been placed in your mailbox and return it to the caretaker to have your telephone(s) registered on the system.

Christmas Tree Collection

Thank you to those of you who deposited your Christmas trees in the allotted parking bay in time for the arranged collection on the 2nd.

Unfortunately we have had to make a separate arrangement to collect the trees that were left later and this will incur a cost to Regatta Point which will be shared by everyone.

Christmas Tree Collection

Nurture, our Garden Team will be collecting any Christmas Trees you might wish to dispose of on the 2 JANUARY 2025.

We have allocated PARKING BAY 9 for you to deposit your trees, ready for collection.

Please use this bay only.

Please note that the Council will NOT collect christmas trees from blocks of flats but there are designated disposal points in the borough where you can take your trees for Council collection at a later date.  See the LBH website for details.

Parcels in Lobby

With Christmas fast approaching the number of parcels being left in the lobby is increasing. Please remember that on several occasions in the past parcels have been stolen from here, and they are a tempting target for local ne’re-do-wells.

We strongly recommend that residents have their parcels delivered to a nearly locker or drop off point if they are not going to be at home to receive them.

Unfortunately someone who rings your doorbell and says they are from Amazon may be trying to steal parcels rather than deliver them.

RPFL take no responsibility for any items left in the lobby.

Regatta Point Handbook

If you do not have the current Handbook please ask Paul, our temporary caretaker for one. His hours currently are 8:30-1:30. You can also text him on 07957 355018 to put one in your pigeon hole if he is out of the office doing the cleaning etc.
