Walk & Talk – February

All residents and owners are invited to join Ian Coats (Director) and Lyndsey Ridgers (HML Shaw) on this month’s Walk & Talk.  This is where we walk around Regatta Point from top to bottom inspecting the building and discussing any issues.  It’s an eye opener in terms of the size of Regatta point and the issues that need to be tackled.

Meet in the lobby at 09:00.  The inspection takes 2 hours.

Please email directors@regattapoint.co.uk to let us know you will be attending.

The following W&T is 29th March 09:00

Changes to the Board of Directors

It is with much regret that we have to announce that the Annual Residents’ Briefing  on Thursday the 21st of January will be the last appearance of Mike Crump in his roles of Chairman and Director of Regatta Point Freehold Limited.  Mike has been carrying out the role for many years and always bought energy, professionalism and enjoyment to the position which is really appreciated by his fellow Directors.  Unfortunately, he has decided it is time to move on so that he can focus on his successful design business.  He will be sorely missed.

As a consequence, George Cross will be taking on the role of Chairman following on from that meeting.  George has been taking the lead with several activities at Regatta Point including the external refurbishment, the internal decorations, the social committee, improving RP communications and building the RP website.  All of which will provide useful experience for the new role.

We are also pleased to be able to announce that Hilary Oliver has kindly agreed to join the board as its newest Director, with immediate effect.  Hilary has a strong commercial background from running her own coaching business and previous corporate experience.  She has been keen to get more involved at Regatta.

REMINDER: Annual Residents’ Briefing

The Annual Residents’ Briefing will take place in the upper lobby of Regatta Point from 19:30 on Thursday the 21st of January followed by drinks and nibbles. All residents and owners are welcome as your input is greatly valued.   The Directors will review 2015, look at plans for 2016 and detail board changes.
Hope to see you there, the Directors RPFL.

Times – they are a changing

Just a quick post to let residents know that, following feedback, we have decided to change the check-out and check-in times for the guest rooms at Regatta Point.

Going forward residents will be able to stay in the rooms slightly later in the morning and check-out at midday.  Correspondingly, check-in will be from 2pm from now on.

Please contact Oscar, our caretaker, for any specific queries about existing bookings.

You’ve got to move it, move it

In order to replace the trellis on the East wall that had been damaged by St George’s removing the existing border plants, workmen will be on site on Monday the 21st and Tuesday the 22nd of December.  They will potentially be working above car park spaces 64-67 and definitely above space 68, 91 and the motorcycle bays alongside the East wall.

Could you please move your cars and motorcycles on these days so as to provide access.

Your co-operation is much appreciated and we apologies for any inconvenience.

For more details please talk to Oscar our caretaker or email caretaker@regattapoint.co.uk
