If you would like your Christmas tree to be disposed of by our gardeners after the festivities, please put it in car space 9 in the car park (west end of the building, at the front). They will be collected on Monday 8th January.
A correction to yesterday’s post: for the time being, Mark’s hours will be from 07:30 to 11:30.
Update – HH have said that the gas main repairs outside are going to continue for another two weeks or so. Consequently the works to our car park access are delayed until mid June.
Advanced warning – we have been informed by the Hounslow Highways team building the cycle lane outside that the access to our car park will be closed between 9:00am – 4:00pm for four days at the end of this month – exact days to be advised. They appear to be providing alternative parking in Green Dragon Lane, but again, details to follow.
There is a fault with the magnetic lock on the main entrance door, as a result of which it is not locking, and consequently anyone can enter the building by just pushing on the door. The door company has been today to attempt to fix it but are waiting for a part, which is due to arrive on Monday.
Mark is standing guard over the weekend, but please be vigilant for intruders over the next couple of days.
We have received the message below from our local Online Watch Link concerning the old problem of bicycle thefts:

We have a very active bicycle thief in the area. Please ensure that your bikes are well locked up especially if you leave your bike in public view. Once stolen not only is it is very hard to retrieve the bike, but if we do we then have to positively identify it, in order to return it to the owner. Please keep a record of the serial number, get it marked, or take photos of it, especially of any identifying features.
