This year we celebrate 25 years since REGATTA POINT opened its doors!

As we feel this is a significant milestone, we are going to hold a large garden party on SATURDAY 24th June from 6.30-11.00 pm.

We would like to invite ALL residents whether tenants or owners, together with ex owners and friends that have been involved with Regatta Point over the last quarter of a century.

We have hired a highly professional 10-piece Soul and Funk band called FRANK THE CAT to perform on the decking with a dance floor available.  A welcome drink and nibbles will be provided, and we suggest you bring your own picnics to enjoy the lawns and decking.

Over the years we have held several very successful parties on the decking and on this special occasion we would like to boost the neighbourly feeling of all residents sharing this building.

So, please make a note of the date in your diaries.  More details will be sent by email and pigeonhole later.

Lift B Refurbishment Works

After completion of the Section 20 process we can finally advise
that the refurbishment works to lift B are to start on Monday
15th May. The work is scheduled to take four weeks and will
be carried out by Arrow Lifts

Reminder – Apartment Fire Door Inspection

A reminder that the fire door inspection is taking place next week, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is to ensure that all of the apartment entrance doors meet the required standards. Please ensure that you have booked a slot, as if the inspector is unable to gain access then you will be charged for a revisit.

This is now a statutory requirement and will take place every year.

Front Door Fault

There is a fault with the magnetic lock on the main entrance door, as a result of which it is not locking, and consequently anyone can enter the building by just pushing on the door. The door company has been today to attempt to fix it but are waiting for a part, which is due to arrive on Monday.

Mark is standing guard over the weekend, but please be vigilant for intruders over the next couple of days.
