Lift B Refurbishment Works

After completion of the Section 20 process we can finally advise
that the refurbishment works to lift B are to start on Monday
15th May. The work is scheduled to take four weeks and will
be carried out by Arrow Lifts

Reminder – Apartment Fire Door Inspection

A reminder that the fire door inspection is taking place next week, on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. This is to ensure that all of the apartment entrance doors meet the required standards. Please ensure that you have booked a slot, as if the inspector is unable to gain access then you will be charged for a revisit.

This is now a statutory requirement and will take place every year.

Front Door Fault

There is a fault with the magnetic lock on the main entrance door, as a result of which it is not locking, and consequently anyone can enter the building by just pushing on the door. The door company has been today to attempt to fix it but are waiting for a part, which is due to arrive on Monday.

Mark is standing guard over the weekend, but please be vigilant for intruders over the next couple of days.

Theft from Foyer 01/03

Last Wednesday 1st of March, in the early evening, we again had an intruder enter the building and take residents parcels from the foyer.

CCTV footage shows that the intruder followed a resident through the front door and then wandered around the foyer area of the building. He then picked up about half a dozen parcels, placed them in one of the two large bags that he was carrying and let himself out of the front door.

If you believe you are missing a parcel as a result of this please let Mark the caretaker know, and report the theft on the Metropolitan Police website where you will receive a crime number.

As a further reminder – leaving parcels in the foyer is not safe. If you are not on hand to take delivery then you should make an alternative arrangement i.e. ask a neighbour to take delivery or use one of the nearby lockers or delivery points.

If you do have a parcel left in the foyer you should collect it as soon as possible.

Please do not open the front door to anyone you don’t know, including anyone who claims to be a courier or delivering food – go down to the front door and collect the parcel if it is for you.

Please also be aware of anyone attempting to follow you in through the front door.
