WiFi Extended to the gym

We are trialling the extending of the WiFi system to the gym.

The mesh we are using is new technology for us so please let the Caretaker, Michael, know if you are having issues accessing the internet over the new system.

We are at the limit of what we can do technically so please bear with us if there are issues. Please, also like Michael know if it is working well!!

Caretaker Holiday

Just a quick note to let you know that Michael will be taking a well earned holiday between the 28th of June and the 9th of July. A replacement caretaker will be arranged.

Championship Play-Off

In a shameless plug for our local football team (honestly, there is actually a stadium somewhere behind those new tower blocks), today we are raising the flag for Brentford Football Club to support them in the first leg of the Championship play-off against Bournemouth.

The match starts at 6pm (so, order in) and is available on SkySports or NowTV.

This is Brentford’s 10th attempt to get into the Premiership and success is estimated to be worth £110m – even if next year they come back down again (as has happened for Fulham and West Brom).

So, please support your local team tonight (sorry any QPR fans). It’s all part of living in Brilliant Brentford.

Come on you Bees!

Guest Rooms to re-open

We are pleased to be able to announce that, in line with government advice, the guest rooms will be re-opening from Monday the 17th of May.

There is one key restriction in place going forward – rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and left empty for two days between bookings. We hope you understand this precaution and we hope to open up more fully as government advice allows.

Our Caretaker, Michael, will be managing the bookings. Please pay by card if possible.

GYM RE-OPENED

It is with great pleasure that, following the improvements to infection levels driven by the vaciniation programme and the lockdown, we are following govenment advice in being able to re-open the gym.

There are still important rules to follow.

  1. Sign-in using the book provided on the table outside

2. Only one household can use the gym at any one time

3. Clean down all surfaces you have touched before you leave

4. Sign-out as you leave so that the next users can see how much time has passed.

We will be re-introducing the guest rooms and sauna facilities only when government advice allows.
