Over the next days (depending on weather and availability) you will see some investigation work on the pier as we assess, with a contractor and surveyor, what works are required. Please take obvious care whilst we make these investigations which will include lifting some boards.

We are also assessing what works can be made on the balconies without scaffolding (there are obvious issues of working at height). Some non-structural work may be possible including some localised repainting where bare metal has been exposed. As a word of caution: any works this year will be limited as the General Maintenance budget is almost exhausted.
